Create a single page style that can be re-used. Reducing the number of elements the development team needed to maintain was key to this project. I grouped the fields together in a more coherent way, so users did not have to hunt and peck for what they were looking for or wonder what a field was for. It was a way to reduce the cognitive load as they built their reports and progressively expanded the parameters from the narrowest and most important to broader and more optional as they scrolled. Create a single page style that can be re-used. Reducing the number of elements the development team needed to maintain was key to this project. By reworking the layouts and controls, I was able to reduce the report page styles down to just one single option. I grouped the fields together in a more coherent way, so users did not have to hunt and peck for what they were looking for or wonder what a field was for. It was a way to reduce the cognitive load as they built their reports and progressively expanded the parameters from the narrowest and most important to broader and more optional as they scrolled.\n\nCreate a single page style that can be re-used. Reducing the number of elements the development team needed to maintain was key to this project. By reworking the layouts and controls, I was able to reduce the report page styles down to just one single option. It helped speed up development on new pages, and provided consistency for older
